Seen Around Town: Half My Size Book Release and Signing

A couple of weeks ago, I accompanied my sister to the release and signing event for Caroline Jhingory’s book, Half My Size.  Ten years ago, Caroline Jhingory lost 150 pounds and has maintained it to this day. As a means to share her mindful eating and healthy lifestyle choices, Caroline created Half My Size, a unique-eating manual that provides comprehensive support, fitness tips and motivation to others wanting to conquer the battle of obesity.

The event was held at Touchstone Gallery in downtown DC and was hosted by radio personality Sunni from WPGC FM.  You can view the official release party video here:

Caroline’s story is very inspiring and I’m can’t wait to delve into my copy of Half My Size. It fits perfectly with discovering a healthier me :) Stay tuned for more from Caroline as we are planning on collaborating on future efforts! In the meantime, be sure to purchase your copy of Half My Size here and keep up with Caroline, her recipes, fitness tips and appearances over on her website: http://www.carolinejhingory.com. You can also catch her in the February 2013 issue of Fitness Magazine.

    • I agree. It’s wonderful when people share their strengths with others. Eventually, we’re all lifted to a higher place. If that food in the picture is healthy eating, sign me up! It looks really yummy and much better than the fries that I’m snacking on!

  4. Each One Teach One. We all have our stories and so it’s nice to share if ppl are comfortable doing so. I find that it helps the healing process when ppl are able to share a part of them. This is wonderful and very inspiring. Kudos to the Heros.

  5. So happy for her.
As an author, I know how she feels to have people attend her book signing event.
I’d love to learn more about how she maintains. A lot of people lose the weight, but struggle to keep it off.
How does she fight urges and overeating on the holidays?
